This year DZ BANK will be joining the international community in Sharm El-Sheikh for COP27 to contiune our work on sustainable finance.
Along with our partners at Deloitte we will be hosting engagements on the dedicated COP Presidency finance day on 9 November in the blue zone at the ICC pavilion (stand P124).
The Blue Zone is the exclusive site of the conference’s negotiations and is solely designated for government officials and accredited organisations.
Sustainable finance is a crucial component of climate action, and from 17:00-18:00 EET on 9 November we will be discussing the role of capital markets in managing carbon and pollutant pricing mechanisms - showcasing the innovative steps financial institutions are taking to combat climate change and increase resilience.
Panelists will be high-profile financial market practitioners, representatives from the UN, and government officials.
This will be followed by a cocktail and networking reception from 18:00-21:00 EET on 9 November.
